The whistle of a belt coming off follows me into Blue’s bedroom. My breath stutters in my chest. I hear the threat of the movement, the speed and power behind it. It’s more than a man getting undressed.

As you may know, the book in the boxed set Take Me is TRUST IN ME. I wrote a brand new prologue and epilogue to go in the set. I also spent some time looking at that book and that series–and the fact that Hear Me never really fit in.
