It's been a while since I've had the chance to sit down with a book by Skye Warren, but not so long that I'd forgotten how good her writing is and how quickly she pulls the reader into the story. Anyway, I expected good things with this book and I got them. There are several reasons to like this Beauty and the Professor. First, it's hot enough that I think I was blushing even with earbuds so no one else could hear.

I am very much a fan of Ms Warren's books. But just not this one. The relationship between the two main characters never really drew me to them. Where in previous books I could see development of the characters, I never saw that here. The writing itself seems stilted. Maybe my perspective only, but I will not try the second book.
